Two plus years ago, I decided to close up shop and move it all online. The decision had a lot of pros, mainly spending time at home with my newborn son, but it also had some cons. One of the cons was definitely missing the interaction with some of my clients. Owning a maternity store and being pregnant, I could relate to most women who walked through my door. There were some very long chats about cankles and missing our toes! Some of these lovely ladies became my friends and we went on to chat about diapers and sleepless nights.

I didn’t expect to form any long lasting friendships online, but I also didn’t expect I would connect with so many amazing women. Some customers place an order and remain completely anonymous while others will share more than their pant size with me. and I love that. I love knowing why you ordered that specific color or maternity shirt, where you plan on wearing it, when you are due, is it your first and the list goes on. Selling maternity clothes is so different from selling regular clothes. Everyone has a baby story to share. It’s such an exciting time and I enjoy being a part of your experience.
